Music theory underpins all of the practical work that happens in your instrumental lessons. Having a good understanding of music theory will help you to maximise your musical abliltites; your theoretical knowledge will support your practical sessions and support swift progress. Passing a grade 5 theory exam is essential for those wanting to take highter level grades with ABRSM and it also offers you UCAS points that count towards college/university admissions.
Our Theory Groups can cater for new students who are just starting out on thier theory journey, through to those who need more help and support to take their grade 5 exam. Please contact [email protected] for more information and availabality.
