Supporting wellbeing through music education

We believe that a child-centred approach increases pupils’ attendance, self-esteem and wellbeing in school. 

Our one-to-one nurture tuition allows pupils to enjoy the creativity and fulfilment of making music with our teachers trained in Trauma Informed Practice.

Progress will be made, but in a very different way to that made in a normal classroom setting and most importantly, pupils will be making music each week in a space where they can feel secure and supported.

Group Nurture Classes

Group Nurture Classes

Group nurture tuition has been developed through research initially working with Children in Challenging Circumstances.  We provide nurture classes for any pupils who may benefit from learning using alternative lesson structures that focus on their specific needs.

In a group setting, there will be the flexibility and support to enable pupils to express themselves through music making.

For classes, we offer 45 minute weekly sessions.  30 minutes is contact time with pupils, with an additional the 15 minutes involving liaising with the relevent member of school taff to either to plan for the upcoming session or to provide feedback afterwards.

Instruments can be loaned to pupils for a one-off fee  (subject to availablility.  Terms and conditions apply.  More information >).

Choose the lesson package to suit your needs.  Prices are per pupil per term (2026-27).

Option A: £106.00

one-to-one 10 minute lessons or 2 pupils sharing for 20 minutes / 3 for 30 minutes

Option B: £159.00

one-to-one 15 minute lessons or 2 pupils sharing for 30 minutes

Option C: £212.00

one-to-one 20 minute lessons

Option D: £318.00
