Here's what you can expect from lessons with Musica Kirklees:
- Term-time lessons for school age children (at their school or local centre) and adults (at their local centre)
- Choose from a wide variety of instruments (see below) or learn to sing
- A variety of lesson packages to choose from to suit your requirements
- A Music Diary plus annual report to keep parents/carers informed of pupils' progress
- Discounts for Kirklees Priority Passport holders
- A guarantee of 30 lessons minimum per full academic year or pro rata
- Option to loan an instrument (subject to availability)

Unsure which option to choose? We'd recommend Lesson Package B for beginners.
Lessons over 30 minutes are also available. Please contact us for prices.
Where lesson sharing is not a viable possibility, Lesson Package A pupils will receive 10 minute individual lessons and Lesson Package B pupils will receive 15 minute individual lessons.
The prices above are for the academic year 2025-26. Prices will be reviewed annually.
Instrument Loans / Hire
We offer the loan of most instruments with the exception of guitars, recorders, ukuleles, keyboards/pianos, electrical equipment and percussion instruments.
Musica Kirklees has a small stock of instruments that students receiving Lesson Package A, B, C or D tuition can loan on a first-come-first-served basis.

All pupils receive a music diary and an annual report to keep you up-to-date with progress and what is happening in lessons

Instruments can be loaned on a first come first serve basis
(except percussion, guitars, piano and electronic instruments) -
