'Let's Sing!' Launches in the Holme Valley

Listen out for our Year of Music song 'Into the Light' sponsored by the National Lottery Community Fund and Musica Holme Valley (MHV)!  This uplifting song was written as part of a two-day song writing workshop involving students from All Saints Catholic College, Newsome Academy and Honley High with initial input from MHV percussionists and led by Henry Bateman.  The song has been professionally produced and has been gifted to primary schools.  The whole project will culminate in some 'Let's Sing!' events, happening this term in high schools and later this year at Huddersfield Town Hall, bringing communities together to perform and make some shared musical memories.
