The viola is a member of the strings family.  It is looks similar to the violin but has a deeper sound and mellow tone.  Watch this short video to see the viola in action:

Pupils can receive up to 3 free sessions in a group, at their school, with use of an instrument (subject to availability).  Your child will get hands-on experience of playing a musical instrument with expert guidance from the Musica Kirklees teaching team.

Taster lessons are available to pupils attending Kirklees schools in school year 11 and under.
