Each music centre string group will perform to guest Music Mentors who will offering helpful comments and guidance. We will also have a special performance from Musica Youth Strings.
The groups will be divided into 3 separate classes. Performers are welcome to stay for the whole event and enjoy all the other groups, or, if you wish, you can just attend for your session (arriving 15 minutes beforehand and leaving at the end of the session).
The timetable is as follows:
- Session 1: 1:00 - 2:00pm (performers please be ready at 12.45pm):
- Musica Batley Allegro Strings
- Musica Colne Valley Junior Strings
- Musica Holme Valley Junior Strings
- Musica Shelley Ready Steady Bow and Training Strings
- Session 2: 2:00 - 3:00pm (performers please be ready at 1.45pm):
- Musica Batley Chamber Strings
- Musica Colne Valley Senior Strings
- Musica Mirfield Junior Strings
- Musica Shelley Concert Strings
- Session 3: 3.00 - 3:30pm (performers please be ready at 2.45pm):
- Musica Holme Valley Senior Strings
- Musica Mirfield Intermediate Strings
- Musica Youth Strings (MYS) Performance: approximately 3.30pm (performers please be ready at 3.00pm)
Audience tickets for the event can be purchased on the day on the door - £5 adults/under 18s free.
