There will be two sessions during the afternoon, Youth Choirs and Community Choirs, during which each choir will be invited to perform a programme of up to 9 minutes. At the end of each session our Music Mentor, Rachel Mosley-Evans from Opera North will give some feedback, guidance and ideas for development.
We would like the choirs to be supported by each other so we plan to start each session with a warm-up for everyone and then each choir will perform.
Timings are as follows:
· 1.30pm: Youth Choirs Arrival and registration
· 1.45pm – 3.00pm: Session 1 – Youth Choirs
· 3pm – Community Choirs Arrival and registration
· 3.30pm – 5pm: Session 2 – Community Choirs
At the end of each session our Mentor will give some feedback and certificates will be awarded to each group.
Refreshments will available during the session break so that we can all get together over coffee.
We’d like to encourage parents, carers and supporters to come along and enjoy each session.
