The Big Chant 2018 - the results are in!
The Big Chant 2018
In partnership with the Huddersfield Town Foundation, Musica Kirklees teachers and class teachers have been working with Whole Class Ensemble Tuition pupils to create new football chants as a method of composition. The aim was to develop ideas with support from professional educators and to engage children in creative composition whilst supporting their local football team.
We like to say a huge 'THANK YOU' to The Huddersfield Town Foundation and all the teachers, schools and pupils who took part and created some very catchy compositions!
Over 2300 pupils got involved with the composition process in 61 schools across Kirklees. The adjudicators enjoyed receiving all the entries which were made either as videos, audio files or written pieces.
